What began as casual chats over geometry homework slowly turned into a real friendship, one filled with laughter, inside jokes, and the kind of effortless connection that just felt right. Before we knew it, that friendship became something more, and in August 2010, we officially became a couple, not realizing then just how much life had in store for us.

Five years later, life took us in different directions. Sergio moved to San Luis Obispo to study at Cal Poly, while Melissa stayed in Los Angeles, attending CSUN. As we grew and chased our dreams, life continued to weave our paths together, always leading us back to each other.

After graduating and stepping into new chapters, we knew one thing for sure, we wanted to build a future together. San Luis Obispo had become a place full of love, memories, and possibility, so we decided to make it our home with our sweet pups, Ali and Meeko. We’ve spent the last few years creating a life together filled with love, adventure, and plenty of late nights binge-watching our favorite shows.

Now, more than a decade after it all began, we’re finally made it official last year and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have been part of our journey all along.
